TRAVEL BADGES
I designed this set of travel badges in Adobe Illustrator to capture the character of Panama, Canada, and Tanzania. Each badge features a playful focal point—like a bear in the Canadian Rockies, a monkey in the jungles of Boquete, and a lion resting on a Serengeti jeep—paired with landscapes that give context to each destination. I used balance and hierarchy to guide the eye from the main illustration to the location text, ensuring each design communicates clearly. Contrast between bold colors and clean vector lines helps the imagery stand out, while repetition of shapes and typography ties the series together as a set. My goal was to create badges that are fun and memorable, yet versatile enough to work as stickers, patches, or branding elements. This project reflects both my illustration style and my ability to apply design principles in a way that makes visuals engaging and cohesive.
